Welcome to our website! We are located in central Florida in the town of Avon Park, directly on Lake Lotela. Villa Lotela was originally a beautiful lake front home that was built in 1926. At some point in time, the residence was made in to apartments. There are four one bedroom one bath apartments in the main building. In addition, there is a two bedroom one bath unit that is detached. Each apartment is unique in floor plan, and furnishings. One theme that is constant however, is the fact that all units are immaculate, and the property is quiet and peaceful. The apartments have been recently remodeled, and although rich with history, they provide the comforts of contemporary home.

If you are not familiar with the Highlands County area, we urge you to visit our links page. We have such a convenient location for visiting most all areas in Florida. Also, Highlands County is home to numerous golf courses and lakes. Feel free to bring your clubs and your boat! Lake Lotela is great for swimming, boating, skiing, wake boarding, tubing, sailing, and fishing. On the property, we have a beautiful beach and a covered picnic area, and you are always welcome to use our dock next door. Although there are many activities to join in you can choose to relax by the water, or enjoy a pretty sunset just sitting in the swing overlooking the lake.

“Charming” is the word most often used to describe our apartments. Our family has owned the property for four years and during this time we have made many improvements. It is an ongoing commitment to make everything as nice as possible. We offer variable rental terms, and we specialize in corporate rentals.
