Villa Lotela was originally a beautiful lake front home that was built in 1925. At some point in time, the residence was made in to five individual apartments. There are four one bedroom one bath apartments in the main building. In addition, there is a two bedroom one bath cottage that is detached.
All 5 of our units are nicely furnished and immaculate. Villa Lotela is a great fit for the traveling professional who needs a comfortable and peaceful home away from home. We also offer annual contracts for longer term guests. Some guests come to stay for short periods and then end up staying for years. We also have many repeat visitors, and more than 10 guests that have ultimately bought property in the area and decided to make Highlands County their permanent home!
The location is very peaceful and private. You can choose to mingle with other guests, or have all of the solitude you want. Relax in a lounge chair, soak up some rays and read a book. Bring your clubs and golf at one of the 10 reasonably priced courses that are within 10 miles of the property. Feel free to bring watercraft, boats, jet skis, tubes, etc. The fishing can also be a lot of fun! Lake Lotela is a premier, pristine sand-bottom lake that is great for swimming and water sports.
